Happy Easter
Here in Middle Tennesse life is beginning anew! It's springtime here and God's beautiful creation is showing off in all its glory! Who can doubt there is a God when this much beauty abounds?? For those of you who haven't seen the promise that springtime brings yet, hang on...it will be there before you know it!
Springtime is God's promise that life begins anew...especially for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior - what a magnificent HOPE we have in Him!
We are so excited about 2009 that we might just be contagious! So many exciting things are happening in our ministry and we give our Heavenly Father all the praise and glory for what he is doing in us and through us. So many of you have emailed to say that the music of the Booth Brothers is giving you encouragement and strength during difficult times. We are so grateful that the Lord has allowed our music to speak to and encourage you. We receive some precious emails from some of you thanking us for encouraging you but what you may not realize is how much YOU encourage us! Your emails and cards help us to remember that all those miles being driven and all those nights away from home are making a difference in people's lives and that hearts are being changed. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!!
We're in the middle of our Northwest and Canadian tour right now and we covet your prayers as the weather is looking a little ominous. We've already had transmission trouble and are currently making the tour in a leased bus. The Lord had it all in hand because the transmission started giving us trouble just as we were leaving on the tour. We were about five miles from home - which is much better than being on some desolate road or busy interstate during the stormy weather that's sweeping the upper part of the country. God is good all the time!!!
It's been a while since we sent a newsletter so we have several good things to report!
We have just released a brand new CD entitled "09". Over the years we've had numerous requests for songs from our archives that we have not performed for many years. With that in mind, we recorded some of those requested songs and included some new material that the folks will be hearing from the group for the first time. Some of the classic songs included were the beautiful Mosie Lister song "Love Was in the Room", and Dottie Rambo's classic "This is My Valley". New to the Booth Brothers catalogue is a song written by the great Squire Parsons, "He Came to Me". We also pay tribute to one of our favorite groups, the Imperials, with their classic "Sail On". We had the opportunity to work with the great Nashville session guitarist, Brent Mason, on Jim Brady's song "I Have an Anchor". This could be the most uptempo album we've cut to date. It's a fun record to listen to but still has a lot of spiritual meat for the soul. These songs are filled with hope and encouragement and you will find yourself listening over and over again to this new album.
The CD is so new that we haven't had a chance to add the audio samples yet so please bear with us. We will get those added as soon as we can. If you would like to purchase this CD please click here.
We are looking forward to our very first West Coast Tour during the month of June. If you live in California or some of the neighboring states we would love for you to join us at any of the eight dates we'll be doing during this tour. Tickets are on sale now for both General Admission and also for VIP tickets. For more information you may click on the link here for a detailed brochure. Make your plans now to join us - we'd love to see you there!!
The 2009 Nominees for the GMA Dove Awards have been announced and the Booth Brothers are honored to have received two nominations for Southern Gospel Song - "Welcome To the Family," and Southern Gospel Album - "Room For More." We are humbled by this recognition and our utmost appreciation goes to Daywind Records for their support and promotion of this project and to our own Jim Brady for the enormous contribution he put forth in writing great songs for this album. Most importantly, all praise and honor goes to Him who gave us the purpose to sing and a Gospel to proclaim.
We are pleased to announce that the Booth Brothers will be performing on the 2010 Singing at Sea cruise next February. We would love the opportunity to serve as your host aboard this music-filled, inspirational cruise. If you would like to receive a brochure simply email the office at boothbrothers@boothbrothers.com or you may call toll-free at 866-72-BOOTH (866-722-6684). We've also made a brochure available by going to our home page at www.boothbrothers.com and clicking on the link.
All passengers who register under the Booth Brothers will receive a very special gift as our thanks for allowing us to be your host for the week. We hope you will make plans to join us for a great week of gospel music.

Well, folks as we draw near to the Easter season we hope that you and your family take the time to reflect on what Easter means for the believer. Our Savior shed His blood, overcame death and the grave and because of His victory we have Hope that there is more - we have the gift of eternal life. Please keep us and our families in your prayers during this extended time away from home. We love you and thank God for you...
Because of Him,
Ronnie, Michael & Jim
