Happy Fall...It's hard to believe that we're in the last quarter of the year. The seasons are definitely changing and Christmas is right around the corner. The next few months will be busy for us but we're excited about what's in store. We will be seeing some of you on the Singing at Sea Cruise coming up in November and we are really looking forward to that!
We have had so much going on and wanted to share with you some exciting things that have happened and some things that are coming up soon.
National Quartet Convention What a time we had during the week of the National Quartet Convention. We were privileged to "kick off" the week with a joint concert with Legacy Five. Those guys are some of our best friends so we had quite an evening. The crowd was very responsive so we want to thank all of the Booth Brothers' fans who made the extra effort to get there for the Sunday evening concert. You helped us get the week off to a great start! Throughout the week, we sang on the Main Stage three times and also participated in a variety of showcases, appreciation luncheons, and round table discussions. As you can imagine, Michael was a blur all week, showing up here and there and never pausing for a moment. We've added pictures to the site from the entire week and we will be adding more so make sure you check them out.
Booth Brothers Named Group of the Year! You have probably already heard that we were selected as the Group of the Year by the Singing News Fan Awards on Thursday evening at the National Quartet Convention. We are so honored and humbled by this award and want to thank those of you who voted for us. It is our desire that all praise and glory go to our Heavenly Father. We will continue to encourage and support each of you as we travel this Christian walk together.

We know many of you will need a mid-winter getaway so we hope to see you in warm, sunny Florida. We have told Michael that he will have no restrictions during the Homecoming Concerts so join us and see what he's up to. (Actually, we're all a little nervous about this but we've survived embarrassment before so go for it, Michael!).
Solo Projects We have had tremendous response to Ronnie's first solo endeavor. For those of you who may not know, the song "I Would" is being released nationally this week. Read below for an overview of the album.
Through the years Ronnie has become known for his warm, smooth voice. This self-titled project captures that warmth and his laid-back, southern manner. Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy songs that are pleasant and inviting and yet bring the message of God's love. The instrumentation and vocals remind you, subtly, of that distinctive Booth Brothers sound and yet this album is unique in its easy country feel. This collection will appeal to all ages and there's something for everyone.
This CD can be purchased at any Booth Brothers Concert or from our online store.
Michael's is coming soon so keep watching our newsletters and website for its arrival.
Bill Shaw The Booth Brothers were honored to have one of Gospel Music's Greats tour with them through Holland, Michigan, Milwaukee and Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Bloomington, Illinois. Bill Shaw, first tenor for the legendary Blackwood Brothers, received standing ovations from the audiences as he sang Down From His Glory. What a thrill it was for the guys to have Bill Shaw travel and sing with them on this tour. Bill is 83 years old and was one of Ron Sr's mentors as he was learning to sing tenor at age 13. Ron and his brothers (the original Booth Brothers) would stand around the "Hi Fi" record player and play their 78 records of the Blackwood Brothers. Jake Sammons from WPOS is pictured joining them on stage with a song too. We are looking forward to bringing Bill on another tour in the future.
Upcoming Daywind Album As most of you know, we signed with Daywind Records back in May of this year and are in the studio now working on our first Daywind Album. This premier record company has an impressive line-up of artists including our friends Greater Vision and Legacy Five. Look for our new project in early 2008.
In Closing
Well folks, it's been an unbelievable year so far and the fall is off to an exciting start. We want to say huge THANK YOU to all of you who have written and congratulated us on being named Group of the Year. Your outpouring of love and kind words have meant so much to all three of us.
The Booth Brothers consider it an honor to be a part of your lives through our music and concerts. We never take that for granted and pray that we can continue to be effective in ministering and encouraging each and every one of you.
Because of Him,
Michael, Ronnie & Jim
