Happy Springtime!

As I write this, all our hearts are with the Roger Bennett family. God truly gave us all a wonderful man that touched so many people with his talents and the life he lived. Someday we'll be able to see him again and continue right where we left off - praising God together!

The guys have been very busy with touring and in the recording studio lately working on new recordings. Michael asked me if I would let you know what has been happening. The guys just started a Canadian tour that will last twelve days ending in Van Wert, OH on April 1st. Check our schedule online to see if they'll be coming near you! Please pray for traveling mercies and physical strength for such a long tour. I'm anxious to have them back!

Trails To ParadiseNow - listen up - I thought I'd never say these words:

The long -awaited western cd, "Trails to Paradise" is finally here!

Sure glad I didn't hold my breath because this project has been 2 years in the making! It is a very unique recording of songs of the old west that is recorded with the beautiful harmonies you have come to expect from the Booth Brothers. The guys wanted you to remember the days when you could watch a cowboy movie with your whole family and not be afraid your children would see or hear something offensive. Being from the generation that remembers many of these songs, I enjoy it. My boys wanted me to be sure to tell you that they did this project to honor the old west. They also said "don't worry", they're not turning into western singers.

For those of you who have been to a Booth Brothers' concert lately have probably seen their rendition of "Don't Fence Me In' with their black cowboy hats. This rendition has captured Michael at his best. Tears will flow from laughter as you watch Michael try to sing around one microphone with his "big" cowboy hat on.

Besides Don't Fence Me In, other songs included are Can't Be A Cowboy, Up The Winding Trail, At The End Of The Trail, Trail of Paradise, Round Up In The Sky, Tumbleweed, Cool Water, Too Much To Gain To Lose, and Where No One Stands Alone.

Michael, Vickie, Jonathan, Christian and oopsAnother Booth On The Way

    Baby #3 for Michael

Michael and Vicki have another Booth on the way--and yes, it's another boy. I think Michael thinks he's in a competition with Guy Penrod of the Gaither Vocal Band! Michael says they have Jonathan who's seven, Christian who's eleven, and then "oops" on the way. That makes Maw Maw and Paw Paw eight grandsons, but we get to add Kim's children (Ronnie's wife). They are Jonathan and Amy (we finally got our granddaughter even if she is 21!).

The baby is due on July 2, 2007 (7/7/07). They are in the process of picking a name. They had a girl's name picked out, but....oh well.

    Office Closed For Easter Holiday
Please note that the office will be closed from April 5-10. You can still order any product online store on our website, but the orders will not be filled until after the 10th.

Hope you all have a blessed Easter while we remember what Christ did for all of us!

Priscilla BoothOn The Road With The Boys
    A Mother's perspective

Please indulge me the opportunity to relate to you my recent experience. I was able to go with the boys when they were in Spring Arbor, MI, East Earl, PA and Salisbury, MD. What a wonderful time I had being a "roadie". Let me give you a little insight on what it is like to spend three days touring with the Booth Brothers. We left Nashville at 10:00 pm Thursday evening. Everyone stayed up for a short time, but soon they were "hitting the sack" while the bus was traveling down the road. (Notice I learned their language.)

The bus can sleep twelve, which would mean they have to stack the bunks three high. Instead, they sleep eight which stacks two and gives them more head room. They gave me the bunk on the bottom so I wouldn't have to "swing" up to the top bunk. Getting in my bunk wasn't too bad, but it was when I had to get up the next morning that I sat and laughed at myself because I couldn't figure out how to stand up (my bad knees made it a little difficult) so I got on all fours and crawled up. The bunks are really comfortable but riding down the road hitting all the bumps, going around curves, which makes you toss back and forth, you definitely do not get a good nights sleep. No wonder it takes my husband, Ron Sr., a couple days to get rested up when he goes with them.

They usually sleep late since they are up late the night before and as I can testify, they certainly do not sleep very well either. By the time everyone gets up, it is time to stop at Cracker Barrel for breakfast/lunch, whichever they feel like having. The next stop is the motel where they take turns showering and go on to their venue to set up for the concert. Once their sound system and product table is set up, they are back on the bus to change for the evening concert. I noticed, too, we were almost the last to leave each night because the guys were talking to all the people. Once we were packed up and were on our way, everyone sat around and tried to unwind by watching a little television (they won't let Michael have the control), call home, eat a little snack, or go into the back lounge to just relax. It wasn't long till everyone was back in "the sack" for another night.

I could go into a lot more details, but I think you get the picture. I don't want you to think they are miserable when they travel, as they are not, but it is very hard on them. As a mother, I see they are not eating right or sleeping right, and do they take their vitamins---Nooooo. They need to snack on fruits and vegetables instead of cookies, chips, candy, soda, etc.

Please pray for the guys as they travel. One night it was suppose to take them three hours to go to the next town, but instead it took them five hours because of the fog and rain. That was a short distance between concerts. They also need prayer for their physical health. They give their all at each concert and allow the Lord to use them to minister to each of you to encourage and give you hope through the songs God gives them. When you think of them, would you just say a prayer for them. I know there are many of you that do just that and we certainly appreciate your faithfulness.

While you are praying, would you put me on your prayer list as I will be having a total knee replacement on my right knee on April 6th.

Thank you all for supporting the Booth Brothers. Your kind words, faithfulness and prayers mean so much to them!
